  • They actually come out crunchier when baked for a longer time than if you fry them. So I don't understand why people are so anti-baking when it comes to fries. It should say on the bag if they are store-bought. But usually, it's 450 degrees for about 15-20 minutes. Just check on them often. Their size has a lot to do with how long it takes to bake them.

  • It should say on the bag unless your making them homemade, then Id say leave them in for about8-10 minutes at 50 and check every couple minutes after that

  • Pre heat the oven to 450, and bake for about 18-20 minutes. You might want to flip or shake them in the middle of cooking time.

  • You just have to keep an eye on them truthfully.Depnding on how crunchy you like them, How long you leave them in.I would put the stove on 400 and check them 10 to 15 min out ,to see if they are done like I like. If they are not leave them in for a while longer.

  • I don't bake them because I like them crunchy.
If you decide you don't like them baked you can fry them in canola oil which is rich in Omega 3s and drain them well. FYI - use a medium thickness fry not shoestring and not steak fry and you will get the best results.

  • If you're using frozen, it should be on the bag, unless you have a bulk bag or something. I'd say at least 10 minutes, then give the fries a stir or flip and another 10 minutes. It may take longer though.

A little trick I've started doing is to actually thaw the fries in the microwave first, then stick them in the oven. It doesn't take near as long. I also usually give the fries a good spray of cooking spray.
