During the Clinton years, we got higher taxes but eventually balanced budgets.
During the Bush administration, we got lower taxes but 2 wars and spiraling deficits.
During the era of Obama, we apparently will get the worst of both worlds — higher taxes than under Clinton and higher deficits than under Bush.

Give it a rest already. Sour Grapes much. We will also get innovation, a better infastructure. We are builkding for the future now instead of just spinning our wheels.

They say that when a new administration takes office, they really only have about 9 months to get the most work done. Obviously he will be pushing his biggest and most expensive agendas now, as he likely won't have a chance to do them later. The public will wake up and see that the spending is out of control and put a stop to it. Right now, he is in the honeymoon period. People are still in euphoria from the 'historic nature' of this election.
