Is the era of Obama going to give us the worst of both worlds?

During the Clinton years, we got higher taxes but eventually balanced budgets.
During the Bush administration, we got lower taxes but 2 wars and spiraling deficits.
During the era of Obama, we apparently will get the worst of both worlds — higher taxes than under Clinton and higher deficits than under Bush.

  • Give it a rest already. Sour Grapes much. We will also get innovation, a better infastructure. We are builkding for the future now instead of just spinning our wheels.

  • LOL! Anon 11:50, I'd love to get to the dream world you live in! Building for the future instead of spinning our wheels! I haven't laughed that much in ages. Thank you for the joke of the day! Oh, that's right, you're an Obama worshipper. Makes much more sense, now. Honey, sorry to burst your bubble, but he's not gonna plan for anyone's future but his own. He doesn't care squat about all you who he suckered into voting for him. As for spinning wheels, well, it's not been anything but that for the last 60 some odd days. He is,however, very adept at talking out of both sides of both mouths on both his faces at the same time. I wouldn't believe him if his tongue was notarized!

  • They say that when a new administration takes office, they really only have about 9 months to get the most work done. Obviously he will be pushing his biggest and most expensive agendas now, as he likely won't have a chance to do them later. The public will wake up and see that the spending is out of control and put a stop to it. Right now, he is in the honeymoon period. People are still in euphoria from the 'historic nature' of this election.
