How far along do you have to be to get braxton hicks?

I am a first timer so, I was reading some of the answers and I am 25 weeks along and I just don't know when you normally get them. Help please?

  • I DONT THINK THAT 25 WEEKS IS TOO EARLY TO BE
    EXPERIENCING THEM.
HOWEVER IF YOU ARE WORRIED CONTACT A
    DOCTOR, THEY ALWAYS KNOW BEST.

  • You can really get them at any time. They are practice contractions...getting your body prepared for labor. Usually they don't start until your second trimester.

  • I had some that I couldn't feel at my 8 week ultrasound. The tech said, "can you feel that? You're having contractions?" Sometimes with your 1st pregnancy you don't notice them at all.

  • From what I understand you have them throughout your entire pregnancy, some women can just feel them earlier than others.

  • You have them from day one almost. You probably wont feel them until closer to 30 weeks this time around, but for following pregnancies you will feel them sooner because you will be aware of what you are feeling.
