How did you know your baby needed glasses?

I have a feeling my 10 month old needs glasses, when I read to him he goes really close to the book and ect. Some advice would be good, Ive booked him an appointment with our eye doctor. Thanks

  • If you suspect your LO may be having problems I would suggest a pediatric Ophthalmologist.

  • I suggest a pediatric opthamologist as mentioned before. They're better trained to work with kids.

I have two in glasses, but it's for esotropia and amblyopia.

My eye doctor said he'd send the boys to a pediatric opthamologist even if he was the first to examine them with their crossed eyes.

  • Maybe he just likes to take a close look. My 2 YO DD used to do that when I'd read to her. She out grew it. But if you are really concerned just take him in to get checked out. I hope it's nothing. I hate having glasses!! I'll be praying for the little guy
