4 1/2 old eating question

My dd is 4 1/2 months old how much should she be eating, she is only taking 4 sometimes 5 oz of formula, do you think she should be wanting more as she grows?

  • She should be eating as much as she wants. She knows when she's hungry and she knows when she's full.

    Just feed on demand. Some babies eat more and some eat less.

  • my baby is almost 5 months and eats 4 oz. There is no set amount of how much she should eat. feed her until shes full, she'll let you know

  • That's normal. A co-worker's child took only 4 ounce bottles the entire first year. Mine took 8 oz but half as often so they had the same amount. Just depends ont he child. Focus on the big picture.

  • It depends on how many times a day are feeding her. At that age, it's the perfect time to get her on a feeding schedule. She is doing fine!

  • As long as shes not fussing and seems like a happy and content baby then yes its enough
