Would you buy your teenage son a blow-up doll?

An acquaintance told me that for her son's 15th birthday, she bought him a anatomically correct blow-up doll, dressed it in lingerie, and wrote things on it like "rear entry", "blow hole" and "this side up". She thought it was funny and said she did the same thing for her nephew.

I think it's appalling. What do you think? Would you buy this for your son, and would you be appalled if someone gave this to your son?

  • Excuse me a sec...*barfs in sink* Okay now...
That's unconscionable. It's one thing to let it drop that the porn shop dumps the old inventory Tuesday midnight, quite another to buy Chrissy The Cheerleader and Feng Shui her up all sexy like that.

  • Ummmmm. yeah thats disturbing, seriously.

But I dont doubt your story only b/c of my inlaws. They are kind of like that, they bought their nephew a playboy magazine when he turned 16. Now they wonder why he has a girl pregnant at 17. Hmmmm geesh people.

  • I think it is appalling. I would never buy this for my son. If someone did, I'd think there is something really wrong with them.

  • Ugh..stupid people shouldn't breed! She should be teaching him about the importance of relationships and not the importance of which hole to stick his dick in first!

  • To be honest, it depends on the relationship between the boy and his mom. They might be the kind that like to prank each other and all around have a goofy relationship.
