if a person is diabetic can you still get pregnant?

i have been wondering if i was to be diabetic could i still get pregnant?

  • Yes, but you have to get your sugar under control first. For the health of you and the baby.

    And you have to keep up with it during pregnancy. My cousin has diabetes and had to wear an insulin pump during her pregnancy to keep it under control.

  • Yes, I have a diabetic friend who has two children. She did have to have a c-section at 32-34 weeks though. There are high risks but you need to talk with your doctor if you want to get pregnant. There are certain things you need to do if possible before a pregnancy.
