switched my daughter from whole milk to lactose free. now she is very constipated and her poop is green??? any idea??

last week she had the flu with alot of diarerea

  • It might be the last of the bug getting out of her system.

    It's usually not a good time to switch things up in their diet close to an illness.....you have no way to know what might be the cause of any reaction.

    Give the pediatrician's office a call and tell them about it all and see what they think.

  • idk about the constipation part, but my ped says DD's poo is green because it doesn't stay in her body very long and since it passes through quickly it still has some of the bile in it that makes it green. it doesn't mean she's ill (necessarily) and that for some toddlers it's completely normal. best wishes to you
