  • My first was immediately in a size 1 (she was 10 lbs 4 oz at birth). My second made it to roughly 5-6 weeks.

  • I can't remember how old she was, I just remember she kept pooping out the back so we switched to the ones and that stopped. She stayed in 0-3 mo until she was 3 months though. She looks chubby but she's only in the 13 percentile.

  • When my son was born the nurses had to search for size 2 diapers. They could only find size 1's, so my parent's went out and bought size 2 for him.

  • Don't worry - it seems most infant clothes run small anyway! We were out of newborn diapers within the first month.

  • My ds was in size 1 from birth.
As far as the clothes, try Carter's/Child of Mine brand. You can get them for pretty cheap at Walmart and the sizes run big. DS was in their newborn clothes until he was 3 months. He's almost 10 months now, and their 6-9 month clothes are still loose on him despite his size (he's 27lbs and almost 29 inches).
