Getting my time under 10 minutes for the mile run!

I want to go to this program. I have to run the mile in under 10 minutes. My time Friday, (first try) was 13:48. I need to prepare so when I take this test I can go to my program. I want to make it! Strategy, advice anyone!?

  • You just have to keep running, each week try to make it fast and fast. You can do it!! You are almost there already!

  • Do interval training every other day. To Tabata---look it up. 20 seconds all out run--10 seconds of walk--20 secs of all out running--etc----you probably will only make 5 sets of this. Research it and get doing some interval training to up your speed and endurance:-)
