How much was ur newborn eating at 3 weeks old?

How many ozs. were ur child eating at 3weeks? i have a set of twins and they are 3weeks and 3 days old and they already eat 4 ozs. every feedin which they eat every 3 hours. im just courios if im feedingĀ  them to much if it might be expanding there tummys to fast?

  • Newborns should be fed on demand. I think it's ok.

  • My 3 month old was eating 4oz every 3 hrs at 3 weeks as well. The dr. told me as long as he wasn't spitting it back up at you it's not to much!

  • Feed on demand. If you feed them too much, they'll spit it back up.

    They're eating about what my boys ate. I do know they were taking 8oz ever 2-3 hours at 6 weeks.

  • Mine was eating about 10 oz every 2 1/2 hours. He was a pig!!!
