WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO STOP HEARTBURN? OH YEAH & I'M LACTOSE INTOLERANT!

THIS HAS PROBABLY BEEN THE MOST PAINFUL PART SINCE I HAV USED A PRESCRIPTION PILL FOR IT FOR YEARS & HAVE THE ALLERGY TO MILK. SOMETIMES I FEEL LIKE I CAN'T BREATHE!
SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME THERE IS SOMETHING OUT THERE BESIDES TUMS & MYLANTA THAT CAN HELP BCUZ NEITHER OF THOSE WORKS FOR MORE THAN 2 HRS AT THE MOST!
THANK YOU!

  • Pop open a warm can of Coca Cola.
    Drink a few big gulps.
You can even hold your breath between gulps.
You should feel relief even if you don't burp.

  • --Besides tums.
I feel ya. I've tried drinking milk, mylanta, tums, and now an over the counter heart burn relief pill. None of those things have worked.
I heard about drinking vinegar though. My cousin told me to drink some, and even though it seems odd to me, he swears by it.
