how can I get dry play dough out of shag carpet?

  • Avon product called Skin So's like an oily substance, but it's a miracle worker... also helps with scuffs on the floor or getting permanent marker off of some surfaces.

  • 1/2 mineral oil (like baby oil) and half water..shake it up and put a significant amount on there and let it sit about an hour. Then get a really tough wire scrub brush and scrub it up.

  • get as much as you can out, let it dry, then brush it/pick it off.

  • Pull out as much as you can. Once it dries, you should be able to vacuum it right out. You may need to aggitate w/ a toothbrush and some baking soda if it doens't vacuum up on the first go round. DO NOT try this before the play dough is completely dry!!!
