  • Oh poor little guy. Talk to his doctor or to the doctor on the discharge papers, as anon recommended for recommendations. If he hasn't eaten much or been active, then probably the lack of "going" should be OK. But find out from a medical professional.

  • first call the dr to make sure they know what is going on, it could be surgery related.
    good luck

  • Oh yeah, could be constipation, could be something much more serious, call the number on your discharge papers or tell the situation to another doctor right away.  Did he ever have a bowl movement or gas after the surgery?  If not this is a serious problem.

  • It's probably from the surgery. Call the number on the discharge papers and ask. This should have been discussed with you when he was discharged. I would think they would have you give him a stool softener. Hope he feels better really soon!!!
