at what age do you consider a baby to no longer be a "newborn?"

i say when they hit 4 months they are no longer newborn but 3 months 2 months and before yes.

  • If cloths can say 0-3mos, I consider those the newborn months.

  • I don't think there's really a "set age", but to me, it seems like when they start holding their heads up, able to start sitting up, etc. I think it's less an age thing and more a developmental and size thing.

  • I always heard 3 months. My youngest was 10 lbs. 6 oz. at birth, never wore 0-3 months, could hold his head up and rolled over from day 1... I don't think he was ever really a newborn LOL! I still said he was until 3 months, though (when he was getting into 9 months+ clothing ;-)).
