Does He hear you even when you don't say "Amen"?

Like if you fall asleep while you're praying...are your prayers still heard?

(Please refrain from bashing the Christian faith here)

  • Yes. It stands to reason that if we are to "pray without ceasing",( 1 Thessalonians 5:17) that we won't always get to "Amen".

  • Yes, definitely He hears. I fall asleep praying sometimes too. Some days the peace of talking with God quickly takes over if I've had a rough day.

  • Amen just means "so be it." It is just used to reafirm your prayers. But it isn't a magic word or anything.

  • Absolutely! I believe God hears what's in our hearts first even before we speak it.
