  • For breakfast you can give whole grain toast w/ all fruit spread, or whole grain pancakes or waffles, along with cut-up fruit and milk. Or you could give scrambled eggs, whole grain toast, and orange juice. Oatmeal and fruit w/ milk.
For lunch, whole wheat noodles with spaghetti sauce, a green veggie, applesauce, and milk. Or grilled cheese on whole grain toast, an orange veggie, cut-up fruit, and milk. Cut-up chicken w/ brown rice, diced mixed veggies, cut-up fruit, and milk.
For snacks, give cut-up fruit, whole milk yogurt, veggies and dip (hummus), and a few whole grain crackers. For a sweet treat try graham crackers or muffins made with whole grain flour.
For dinner, just give a smaller portion of whatever you are eating. Or you can make up some meals ahead of time and freeze them - this works for lunches too. Just freeze them in 'toddler-sized' portions and take out what you need.
