Please dont make this into a big thing. Just a simple question: no bashing

For all the strictly religious people who view homosexuality as a sin: What would you do if your child turns out gay? Would you disown them or accept their lifestyle choice and continue to love them regardless?

And please NO BASHING. I am sincerely curious as to how an extremely religious family would react.

  • I am very religious and nothing my children ever do would make me not love them.

I would be disappointed and sad. But I would love them forever!

  • I would never disown my own child. I would just tell them that i don't agree with it but I cant force him otherwise....it would be really hard so I have no clue how I would respond

  • I am not sure for I hope I have a while for this lol mine are 4 yrs and 15 months. But I would probably very upset, but there would be nothing I could do about it because they can just sneak around and do it behind my back. I rather them not hide anythinf I want them to be able to come to me and tell me anything for I couldnt talk to my mom about things. I would be very upset, but I would accept the fact that they were like that. I would let them know that I still love them. I would never stop loving my children no matter what they did or do.
