MORE money for GM and Chrysler?

It's looking like the President is going to ok BBBBBBBillions more in bailout money for the 2 auto makers. The Unions still aren't conceding anything. This is just money down the drain! Do you think they should STILL be getting money?

BTW Ford isn't taking money and are in a BETTER place than both of these companies!

  • I fdo not even know how to react to all the bailouts. All the rich are getting richer while the everyday guy cannot put gas in his car to go to his min wage job. i am worrieda bout this country. I voted obama and I do like him but there is no way any pres can fix this countries problems in even 8 yrs...didnt take only 8 yrs to make it so bad, so it will take longer to fix it. Depressing.

  • Obama is using his own unique way of throwing money,  not his money your money, at his campaign supporters. Penalizing the good taxpayers and job creators and rewarding the bad behavior of companies who just want more what someone else has. Class envy and socialism.

  • I read in an e-mail that the auto makers were making crappy vehicles, and we wouldn't buy them. Well, with these bail-outs, they're getting our money anyway, and we're STILL not getting good vehicles!

  • This is some crap! I actually heard that GM is doing good though as far as making more efficient vehicles. I will try to find a link.

  • Get rid of the unions. Get rid of the highly paid executive positions. Get rid of the company. If they can't figure out how to run in the black then they deserve to fail. If they are more concerned with maintaining million dollar salaries going to those who ran the company into the ground then they deserve to fail.

  • Nope. Business' that cannot run thing need to fail. They can go through bankruptcy like the airlines have. I am sick of bailouts there should not be anymore of them for companies, banks or citizens.

  • You would think the unions would be interested in saving their jobs.

Since the government has gotten to "happy" lately dictating to other industries what they can/can't do, they should just dissolve the unions......................

Seriously though, no more money. Let them go into bankruptcy and be forced to reorganize. These companies aren't going to 'go away" even if they can't emerge from bankruptcy. Someone will buy them. They need a NEW start without their union crap dictating the way they do business.
