I keep seeing the word "troll" in answers alot and I'm guessing it is an insult of somekind due to its context "troll much?" But please satisfy my technologically impaired curiosity, what on earth is a troll used in cafemom context? (not the cute kind with crazy neon hair adn smelly belly buttons or the kind that live under a brige)

  • a troll is usually someone who just pops into a thread to cause trouble.

An Internet troll, or simply troll in Internet slang, is someone who posts controversial, inflammatory, irrelevant or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum or chat room, with the primary intent of provoking other users into an emotional response[1] or to generally disrupt normal on-topic discussion.[2]

  • It's someone who just lurks journals, questions, etc and just says things to be mean and b*****y. Never has anything nice to say, etc. So they are always "ugly" so to speak. LOL
