When was the last time you washed your curtains?

Do you ever just look up and say, damn! I gotta wash those curtains etc.?

  • Every season I change them and wash them.
When I take down the ones that have been hanging, I wash them.
When I go to hang new ones, I wash them and allow them to dry after I have hung them in the windows. This is especially great with sheers and light curtains!
If they are drapes, cotton, or thick, then I will dry them in the machine on a light cycle and iron them before hanging them.

  • I washed mine about 2 weeks ago, my parents were coming up to see DS for the first time in over 2 months and my cat peed on them the night before they came. It is the only time he has ever peed anywhere but the litter box

  • I washed them last when I moved last October, so that's...6 months round about? Hell they don't get dirty, and mine don't collect dust (that I can tell, anyways).
