Can you get reinfected with HPV over and over again if you are with someone who gave it to you once and you decide to wait till marriage to have sex again?

Are you going to get a hpv outbreak or be more at risk for cancer?

  • HPV is caused by a virus that usually goes away in a short period of time in women and men with a strong immune system. You don't get "re-infected" with HPV unless your partner has sex with other women during your relationship who have HPV. Your body should have the anti-bodies against HPV after the first infection. If not, they can tell in a pap smear at it puts you at an increased risk of cervical cancer. However, if you continue the pap smears and follow the doctors advice, you should be ok. Some other measure to take are to boost your immune system through good nutrition and there is also a homeopathic remedy for HPV.
