Stupid question, have you ever dipped your preggo test in the toilet bowl?

i know this is dumb, but i was half asleep this a.m when i took the preggo test and didn't hit the strip to well with my urine :0( so i dipped it in the toilet, that would make it negative wouldn't it b/c its so diluted?

  • No I haven't and it would not be accurate because it is diluted.

  • You should have just waited until the next time you had to pee.

  • Well, with the way pregnancy tests work, it's really difficult to get a false reading. It detects a hormone your body produces in response to being pregnant. If the answer was positive, I doubt that your toilet was producing that hormone, but if you are looking for a negative, I would get a new test. I would still re-test just to be safe, but that hormone doesn't just come out of nowhere. lol
