  • LOL, just sounds like a stubborn child to me. He will figure it out on his own, especially if you walk away from him and he wants you, he will not only sit up on his own, but he will crawl to you lol. My son didnt sit up till 7 or 8 months and wouldnt' crawl till 9 months cause he was TOO FAT, poor kid high centered himeself on his belly. When he got tired of not moving he forced himself to crawl to the coffee table to stand up and toddle around lol

  • well, they have to learn to balance themselves so sometimes him falling over as long as he's not around anything that will hurt him is a good thing.

  • He will when he is ready. Meanwhile, trying putting a low table or stool, or a cardboard box with a hole cut out of one side for his legs to fit in. Set him on the floor with the box or stool like a table in front of him, and put a treat- some banana slices or whatever treat you feed him, or a toy that he likes, on the "table" so that if he wants it he'll need to sit up at least a short while to get to it.

  • Those Boppies are great, we used to set our daughter in the middle of them, she loved it

  • put a pillow behind him and on eaither side or sit him in the corner of the couch(with you right there) or sit beside him and pretend your touching him so he can strengthin his side muscles some more if he refuses to sit why you not beside him itll give more ballance
