Have video calls with new moms helped you cope with postpartum depression?

Hi Moms - I'm working on a tech journalism piece for graduate school, due in May. When I was on maternity leave, I frequently communicated with my best friend (who had a 1 year old) and sister by using Skype. My sister also used Skype to communicate with family while she was on maternity leave. I believe this interaction allowed us to not feel so isolated. Have video calls (for example, Skype, iChat or other Internet sites that allow you to talk online via webcam) with new moms helped you cope with postpartum depression?" Please email me at s_marable@yahoo.com with the subject title, “Mom-to-Mom video calls.” Your responses are greatly appreciated! All the best!
