3 year old check up...

Does anyone know if I should expect shots?

  • you shouldn't.... on my vaccination card it just calls for a urine test and pcv (pcv is blood test, all they'll do is prick their finger)

  • We didn't have any. We didn't have any kind of finger prick or urine test, either.

    Best bet is to call your pediatrician's office.

  • I think the next shots are at 4. My son is 2 that's what she told me anyways. The pedi. For school.

  • My kids never received shots at age 3. Ages 2 & 4, but if you are behind he/she may need them.

  • My kids had their last shots at 18 months. The next set is at 5 years, or before school starts.

  • As long as shots are current, there won't be anymore until they start kindergarten...unless you do flu shots in the fall. We had to clarify that for my daughter because she took the doctor's statement "No more shots" very seriously! :)
