  • When my kiddos turned one I only had a small party. It's really what you want to do, but I only included family.

  • I am having a really big party (60 people). I have a huge family. I rented out our community club house. I am decorating with butterfly and flower theme. (I obviously have a girl). It is very stressful. If you can get away with a smaller party...DO IT! Not to mention the expense.

  • I had two small parties for my son's first B-day because my family and my hubby's family are far apart. both were small and mostly family with a couple neighbors or friends who are like family.

  • I had a small Backyardagains party with a tractor cake. We invited family and a few friends at the local city park the weekend after his party. You definately want to keep it small.
