i was married for 23 years when my husband died.
we were together every day of our marriage. we always talked about everything. we were always touching, be it holding hands, a hand on a leg just touching.
we had only known each other for 6weeks before we got married, i was 19 he was 25. for 3 years we grew up learning about ourselves & strengthening our ond. then we had the kids.
ours was a partnership. we fouught sure but wenever went to bed angry.
i've only been a widowfor 8 months but i'm never going to marry again ~ i had the best .

  • Check out the Love Dare (run a google search). My DH and I are on day 25 now, and it's great. Probably the best thing we've ever done for our marriage.

  • read "the five languages of love"
it's a great book, and even if you're not having any problems, it can improve your marriage

  • COMMUNICATE. That's the number one problem in marriages.

And that doesn't mean nag! **grin**

  • communicate, recognize his authority, always be honest, and always tell him how much you appreciate him (even if you don't hear it).
