Sanitizing pacifiers

Is it a good idea to boil pacifiers on a regular basis to keep them sanitized?
Or do you recommend another way to clean/sanitize them?
thanks!!

  • I don't know, I boiled mine and ran then through the washer but I think a short boil is best and then getting rid of them totally.

  • I boil my daughter's pacifiers twice a day because I am very afraid of her getting thrush because I BF.

  • I boil mine but not every day... more when she was younger...but other than that, I use babyganics cuz it's a natural cleaner for baby bottles and i use that on a regular basis.

  • I always kept several pacifiers for my son, when he'de drop/throw one i'de give him another and boil the one he dropped/threw and put it with the others in a sealed bag so they couldnt get contaminated. that way on one was over used or worn out.

  • Everytime I boil the bottles i put the pacifiers in with them. Its the easiest for me. But they do make wipes that are safe to use on pacifieres and other toys.
