Play-Doh, did you know?

Play-Doh was first sold as a wallpaper cleaner. How’s that for weird? You rolled it on the walls to remove coal dust.

Just something interesting I saw today and thought it would be fun to share. Do you know something weird or fun that you would like to share?

  • Mike Nesbit (from the show and the band "The Monkey's) mom invented white out. She was a secretary for a legal office and she mixed white tempra paint and water to cover her typing mistakes, and voila - white out :-)

The sticky backing on post it's was a "failure" - the inventor was trying to make a better super glue :-)

  • Silly putty was originally invented as a plastic explosive, but it turned out to be delightfully fun to play with too! (It doesn't explode now or anything...)
