Why does milk start drying up?

  • Many things can cause your milk to dry up:

    Poor diet
    lack of sleep
    using pumped bottles and not pumping to replace that feeding
    sometimes pregnancy

    These are just a few. Count wet diapers, it's the best way to tell if your milk is drying up.

  • Is it drying up, and what makes you think it is?

    Milk can dry up if you aren't nursing enough. It's a supply and demand thing. Also if you are stressed it can effect milk production.
