What do I do with a clingy 10 month old?

He never knows what he wants. If I take something away that he can' t get into, he cries. If I get a toy or bottle for him, he cries because he doesn't want it. He won't let me hold him if he acts like he wants attention b/c he can' t hold still. Then he screams because he's bored. What do I do with him? Seriously, this sounds like a stupid thing to ask but nothing seems to make him happy. Do/did your kids act like they didn't know what they wanted at that age?

  • mine does and I put her in a safe place and walk away. She will figure out what she wants and then stop crying.

  • put him on the floor and let him explore and learn, just make sure to eb by his side. There is so much they are looking at and learning at this age... good luck!
