How do you feel about this quote??

"when I see a 9-11 victim family on TV or whatever, I'm just like, 'Oh, shut up!' I'm just so sick of them because they're always complaining."

The context didn't change anything! How could you go to that link and let him off? The things he is saying are hateful and callous. Did you read the link? There is no excuse. Isn't this guy supposed to be a Christian? Yet he's judging the way people act during horrible circumstances. He is calling sesperate people trapped in a stadium scumbags. He is saying 9/11 victims are "complaining" on television. So what if he qualifies it with "10 or so families", who is he to say something that horrid.

  • That's very insensitive. I think I would be careful saying things like that. I'm not a buddhist but I do believe in Karma ...

  • I suspected it was out of context. Glenn says a lot of things but I could't imagine him saying it in the OP'rs context.
