Are handshakes still use @ job interviews?

With all the germ freaks out there do you think that handshake should be eliminated?

  • No, I don't think it should be eliminated. You can tell a lot from a handshake, and if the germs are that big of a deal, as soon as the people walk out, both parties couls wash their hands.

Shaking hands is a nice gesture. Now a days less and less people are nice in any way, doing away with handshakes is another reason for people to do away with a nice gesture...

  • I have actually taken a class on how to do an interview and the class mentioned that if you are the one getting interviewed you dont offer a hand shake just for the reason that most people are germ crazy now. BUT however if the interviewer offers one then you do it and wash later.
