Do i have a choice?

my doc induced me a week early,and i had an emergency c-section, i guess just because he wanted to. but i just found out im pregnant again and i dont want to be induced. i want to try for a VBAC, my doc said i can try for a VBAC if i want but am i aloud to refuse induction?

  • you should have a choice unless its an emergency..i heard that if you have a c-section once that if you get pregnant again with in a year your going to need another C-section, but it might not be true..but i think you have a choice

  • you have the right to refuse medical ANYTHING unless its an emergency or they think your insane. literally. maybe try a different doctor, if you think he wont give you a choice. =]

  • one thing i have heard alot about VBAC's is they would rather you be induced because if problems arise and say you go into labor at home and deliver you could die if problems arose during delivery! i have saw that on alot of medical shows they usually want you to be induced with VBAC because of all the risks involved
