  • No. You'll have to see a dentist, more than likely they'll remove it. Sounds like you have an infection. Rinse with salt water three times a day to try to keep it at bay until you can see a dentist. Look into your local dental schools or universities. Most have an in-office for students to practice their newly aquired skills. Cheap and trustworthy. They are overseen by pros. Hope you get better soon!

  • Rinse with saltwater each and everytime you eat ...because that smell is the food getting caught in the whole inside your tooth.

  • I am a dental hygienist. Bad breath can be the result of not having your teeth cleaned at the dental office regularly - we can get into the spaces that your tooth brush can't reach. It can also be a sign of an infected tooth. Sometimes there is no pain when a tooth becomes infected because the infection has found a way to release the pressure on the tooth.
It's important for your overall health to have regular dental checkups. Also the longer you wait to have your teeth taken care of the more expensive it can get - even with insurance.
I work in a low income clinic where we work on a sliding fee scale. Check around in your area for one. You really need to see the dentist.
