  • i really think it's ridiculous that half the women would rather bitch at you and talk shit than think of the child and just answer your question cuz you wouldn't have asked it if you really didn't want to know the answer. we are supposed to be supportive and answer eachothers questions here not be bitches that think they know everything. apparently there are alot of very young immature moms here. i'm only 21 and i'm ashamed to be in the young mommy category now.

  • Then you have to get her a convertible seat and still have it rear facing until she is 12 months and 20 lbs. You must have a really small infant car seat because my 8 month old is 17lbs and 28ins and still fits fine into his.

  • I don't know of any car seat that doesn't go up to 22 pounds. That's an infant carrier. They almost all go to 22 pounds. Some go to 30. THere is no length restriction. If you feel she is too long at 25 inches.....(because she is totally NOT too heavy), go buy a convertible car seat that can be rear facing until she is 1 year old AND 20 pounds. She is too young to face forward and in many states that would actually be illegal depending on their car seat laws.

  • the lowest weight you can outgrow a carseat is 22 lbs. its not so much the length....My DD is 27 inches and 19 lbs. and still fits comfortably in hers and it's rated to 22 lbs...it sounds like you need to adjust it to fit her. And DO NOT forward face til at least 1 year and 35 pounds or longer.
