Should I throw out all my bottles?

Last night I wanted to really santize my son's bottles since he's been sick so I put them in hot soapy water and added a little bleach. Well I ended up forgetting to take them out so they sat in the bleachy water all night and all day today. If I rinse them out real good will they be okay to use? Or is there something I can do to save them? The nipples and everything were in there too.

  • They are fine. I agree with pamelajgs that you should boil them. I have worked as a daycare teacher for 6 years and the health department assured me several times ( cause i was nervous too) that the bleach will not soak into the bottle. But i would boil, always good to be safe than sorry:)

  • Try boiling all of the bottles and nipples in a big pot of hot water for about 5-10 minutes, it will be fine...
