Can I sleep on my right side during pregnancy?

  • if you are comfy that way. They recommend the left because it increases blood flow to the baby.

  • Either side is fine but the recommend the left like 2autisticsmom said. No laying on your back for any extended amount of time after 20 weeks and obviously don't lay on your stomach. But right or left side is perfectly ok.

  • whatever you can be comfortable with. My doctor told me it was okay to sleep on my back as long as it was comfortable but warned me that it wouldn't be comfortable after a short period of time. He was right. I say if you find a position that lets you sleep well then that's terrific and go for it!

  • im 7 mnths and I wake up at night on my left and right sde and sometimes on my back. Its fine.

  • I am a stomach sleeper and asked my doctor if I could still sleep on my stomach. She told me that as long as it was comfortable for me, it was fine. She said she slept on her stomach until she was 5mths. I ended up sleeping on mine until I was almost 8mths.
