What is the best disinfectant to clean a sandbox with?

We got it used and are not sure if it has had any cats in it. My husband is afraid bleach will bleach the color.

  • Wow...ok I don't think the bleach will hurt the color of the sand box. People are afraid of bleach and although effective it is one of the most harmless household cleaning products. It is just not a friend of colored clothes. I would bleach it, rinse it well, dry it very well and use.
