ok sooo...another random question...lol

ok so if we dye and hide EGGS on Easter, why do we have the Easter bunny and not the Easter chicken?? Bunnies don't lay eggs.... :)

  • Because like most Christian traditions, they are based from pagan practices. The rabbit is a symbol of fertility and the egg rebirth which are celebrated during spring, specifically Spring Equinox (Ostara).

  • No see the Easter is friends with the chickens and since chickens don't have hands they pay the Easter bunny to deliver the eggs.
