  • well they arnt "poor" they just dont manage their money well. i dont feel bad for people who say they have no money but spend it all on pointless stuff like that, when they could be saving it.

  • Don't forget cell phones and alcohol. I always wonder this too. If you can't afford food, how come you can afford smokes? That just does not make sense to me. I'm poor, I don't have cable, I don't smoke, I don't drink...I do have a prepaid cell that I put time on when I can afford it. I buy food with my money. I think the answer is they have their priorities wrong.

  • It all comes down to their priorities. I know a woman that uses child support to buy her cigs and other things as such. I have told her time and time again, that the support is for her kids needs not to give them second hand smoke

  • Stop whining. I'm poor as hell but I have internet access. And NO, I'm not on welfare so it's none of your damn business how I spend my money.

  • No kidding.... I consider myself poor, but we have food on the table and the kids are fed, clean and happy. We don't get any assistance. Are you that lady peeking into the carts of the people paying with foodstamps? Worry about you. Not me, or Fallaya, or anon 9:04, or legalmommy101 etc.
