Can an air humidifier be used to filter air?

I just purchased 1 and I knw its supposed to help babies breathing. But can it also be an air filter..I ask that because it uses a filter. Plz help.. Cause I wanna knw before I run out & purchase an air filter!

  • No, it's not an air filter. Humidifiers only let out moisture into the air. Air filters suck in the pollen and stuff that's in the air. It would be cool if we could get 2 in 1 though
