what are all the abbreviations?

I'm new to cafe mom, and I'm a lil confused by all the abbreviations, I've learned that BM means birth mother and SS means step son, but what does DH and DD mean? I'm so confused when i read answers with these abbreviations in them.

  • It took me a while to figure that out to. Here are a couple of others:
SIL - sister in law replace the s with a m for mother in law and visa versa.
SAHM - stay at home mom
    CIO - Cry it out
PIOG - posted in other groups

  • Welcome Kates1122. I thought BM meant more so Babbie Momma. Um a nurse as well, Yas Marie 87. It is not logical to have been under the impression that BM meant the same on here as well. That would've been more so on allnurses website. Have u been there it's great........Welcome again Kates 1122 n' hope 2c u there Yas Marie 87, oh & I didn't mean that as an insult, I meant it in the kindess way possible.
