Do your nipples gain back some elasticity after breastfeeding for years?

I've been breastfeeding for nearly 4 years (2 children back to back terms) and I'm wondering if when I finally wean my toddler, will my nipples reduce in size like my breasts will? or am did I sacrifice my perky nipples entirely? Any long time breast-feeders, who can tell me yea or nay?

  • I have breastfed 3 kids, all for over a year (but I did have time inbetween where you said you didn't) and they have always gone back to normal after I weaned, about a month or 2 afterwards.
