Obama "dazzled" everyone at the G20 summit, and the US press is raving about how great he did. In reality, he was a total fail at what was said before the trip were his two main goals. A global stimulus spending plan, which was shot down by the German President Merkel, and more troops from NATO from Afghanistan, which didn't happen either (see link).
Is anyone else surprised that Obama's foreign policy, which boils down to just talking nicely with the leaders other countries about what we want over tea, isn't working?! (sarcasm)

I have to wonder if the other countries have more conservative spending habits and aren't willing or able to provide an assist in Afghanistan.

You sure about the NATO troops thing? Maybe he didn't get as much as he wanted but they did promise more help.
A question also. What SHOULD Obama have done to get them to pledge more troops? Bribe? or threaten? That seems to have been our MO for a long while.
