Is it ok to mix formula?

For example, two ounces of Good Start with two ounces of Similac? Is it ok to do this? If not is there another way to slowly transition baby from formula A to formula B?

  • I think as long as they are both cow milk based it should be fine to mix or switch. What does your ped say?

  • It is ok to mix them like that, but you can also just switch. I had to mix my son's bottles half good start half similac because he didn't like the taste of similac at first. Just make sure you don't mix the powder together into one can, because the scoops are different sizes.
