If money doesn't grow on trees then why do banks have branches?

  • LOL! But technically money does grow. Even though it's not actually paper, the cotton in the cloth or whatever material it is made from had to be actually grown in the beginning, right?

  • that is correct anon1.

    well in a way.. i guess op is right in the sense that the money itself doesn't grow. but the trees do.. which then get cut down and mushed to pulp.. then ironed out and cut up some more into neat little sheets of paper we call legal tender... wish i had some....... anywho.. those aren't the same type of branches.. there!
