Facebook is depressing...

So everytime I go on facebook and look at my high school and college friends that I haven't seen in years I can't believe how old they look. No that they look bad, just all grown up.
Then it hits me... if they look old and I'm the same age as them... OH CRAP I'M OLD!
Does anyone else feel that way?

  • I just said this very thing to a boy I went to school with. We found each other on facebook. I told him I know I have grown and changed but in my mind when I think of him and my other friends they are all 17 in my mind...they will always be forever young!

  • LOL, I'm just the opposite! I look at my old high school friends/classmates and realize how old I look and how young they still look!

  • I just had a friend request from a girl I used to babysit.

    She's 26 now.

THAT made me feel REALLY freaking old.

  • I'm in my fifties with youngest a teen. I feel young because with my oldest in midtwenties I'm just not het a grandma. I won't feel old if I become one but I feel young because most of my hs classmates have more than one grandchild, they mostly married younger than I did in my late twenties.

  • Yeah, I feel old when my son comes home from school and tells me what he learned and I have forgotten all about learning it. Or when my other son or daughter do something that they have never done before and it makes me realize how big they are getting. Oh god, my youngest (and last) will be 2 in June, where did the time go?

  • Most of the people I see on there who thought they were the shit and treated others bad looks like crap and overweight. Some are successful and I feel very proud of and some just looks the same or 100% better than they were in highschool.
