So i just had a baby girl four days ago... I get so anxious with her.... I feel like sometimes i not doing things right..... i have confidence as a mother, I just get worried like im not doing enough for her and its only been four days!!!.... She constantly sleeps & wakes up to eat.... I just feel like maybe she should be louder? lol.... more active? lol.....
did any first time moms feel this way? how did u relieve your anxiety about feeling like you dont do enough or the anxiety of having a new born.....?? -

This is another great reason breastfeeding is best. In the beginning they are all just sleeping and eating machines, by breastfeeding you are spending their awake hours literally attached, holding and caring for baby. No need to feel like you are not doing enough because, by breastfeeding, you are baby's lifeblood, not only are you nourishing but you are spending countless hours holding, loving and bonding with baby. There is a reason why baby can only see from breast to face, no need to feel like you should be doing more! Congrats on the new one!

I assumed that someone who asks what more she can do for baby would definitely be breastfeeding. If not then perhaps that is the answer to the question. Breastfeed and you will feel fulfilled in the amount of time and the activities that one does with baby this early on.
